How does an elephant taste?
In the shops we can commonly find various kinds of meat. From traditional meats, such as chicken or pork, to exotic fish and other aquatic animals. But what if we could also buy elephant meat?
Don't worry, fortunately it's not about killing these majestic animals. We are talking about scientific progress, where the producers of the so-called fake meat have come up with another novelty. They will grow the meat of exotic animal species that most people haven‘t had a chance to taste.
What is their reason?
These days beef is artificially grown. But it is commonly available, so people know its natural taste, which they can then compare to substitutes. Although the taste of substitutes is approaching the taste of real meat, it is not able to replace it completely. Therefore, scientists came up with the idea of growing meat from animals whose taste people do not know as well, therefore they have nothing to compare it to. They also rely on the temptations of people that they will have to try such a dish.
